Over 150 million gallons of water are produced daily by over 200 springs, and the water bubbles to the surface through fissures in the earth at a constant 72° year round from deep within the Edwards Aquifer. There are over 100 observable species of underwater plants and many species of aquatic life, including 5 that are endangered.
