Make Music with Us!
Join us on the Courthouse Lawn all day on June 21 for various music lessons and jam sessions! Here's the lineup:
- 9 - 9:45 am: Babies and Toddlers Class
- Parents must be present, Instruments provided
- Instructor: Ian Lee
- 10 – 10:45 am: Kids Violin & Fiddle Lesson (Age 9+)
- Sone instruments provided, first come first served. BYO Violin.
- Instructor: Ian Lee
- 11 - 11:45 am: Adults Violin & Fiddle Lesson
- Some instruments provided, First come First Server. BYOV.
- Instructor: Ian Lee
- 12 – 3 pm: Break/Open Jam Session on Courthouse Lawn (Acoustic)
- 3 – 3:45 pm: Acoustic Guitar lesson (BYOGuitar)
- Instructor: Ace Pepper
- 4 – 6 pm: Jazz and Rock:
- Keyboard & Drum Lessons & Jam Sessions
- Instructor: Bruce Wayne
- 6 – 7 pm: Open jam, no instructor.
- Come make friends and jam out! (acoustic)
Make Music Day is a celebration of music on the summer solstice performed by anyone and enjoyed by everyone. The festival is on June 21st and goes all day. It takes place in over 1,000 cities around the world, including San Marcos, Texas! You’re invited to take part in the festivities and help show off the San Marcos music scene.
San Marcos is proud to be a Music Friendly Texas Community designated by the Texas Music Office and be home to a thriving community of talented music professionals.
