The San Marcos Art League invites all shutter bugs to submit their best work in the August exhibition, “Picture This”. The call for art is open June 1 - July 31 with intake at the San Marcos Art Center on Sunday August 2 from 1-4pm. Running from August 5 through August 28, 2026, this showcase dedicated entirely to the photographic medium will highlight the diverse perspectives and technical mastery of local and regional lens-based artists.

  • You can apply to participate online between June 1 - July 31, 2026.

  • Intake for the show will be Sunday, August 2, from 1-4pm. 

  • The public opening reception will be Friday, August 7, 2026, from 6-8pm at the San Marcos Art Center.

  • The exhibition will be open for viewing through Friday, August 28.
