E-mail Addresses
As a matter of policy, your e-mail address will not be sold, rented, or shared with any other business or organization. Users that have checked one of our e-mail request buttons may receive travel information on San Marcos. If you wish to be removed from our email lists, click on the unsubscribe link located on the bottom of the email message. Please allow one to two weeks for our list to be updated.
Meeting, Sports and Tour Planners
Information provided by meeting planners, sporting event professionals and other travel professionals is reviewed by Visit San Marcos staff to follow up on requests and develop future business. Events booked in San Marcos are printed in the Convention Calendar unless that event is specifically marked confidential. If a meeting is confidential it is our policy not to list it on any distributed information. Visit San Marcos also uses provided information for internal purposes such as e-mail contact.
Security of Personal Information

Visit San Marcos Social Media Moderation Policy
The purpose of the Visit San Marcos social media pages is to keep our residents, businesses, and visitors updated with the most recent news, events, and information related to San Marcos. This site welcomes family-friendly comments and posts. In addition to the Facebook Content Code of Conduct, the City Communications Department reserves the right to enforce the rules contained in this policy. The City of San Marcos is not responsible for the content nor does it endorse any site which has a link from this page. All content, comments, and replies posted are subject to the Texas Public Information Act and are considered public information under that State law and may be disclosed in response to a request for information from any member of the public. Content and comments containing any of the following are not allowed for posting on this page and will be removed:
