Industry

Saturday & Sunday 11-3
Starting off with a bang, Industry's brunch is a fan favorite for a reason. Order anything made from AquaBrew (which is brewed right next door) or a Misspent Youth (a personal favorite). The Tater Tot Casserole, Chilaquiles, Brunch Bowl and are always a hit.

Root Cellar

Served all day Tuesday - Sunday 8am-9pm
Brunch at The Root Cellar is a San Marcos classic! Order the super fluffy and sweet Brazilian French Toast, The Rae Sandwich or get creative and build your own breakfast. If the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere - there's always something happening in Downtown San Marcos!

Blue Dahlia

Served all day Monday - Sunday 9am-3pm
Looking for a colorful, quaint and grammable brunch place? Blue Dahlia is just the spot! We recommend ordering a mimosa or two - they have a wide range of fresh flavors to choose from. Personal brunch recommendations are the Blueberry Blintzes, Savory Crepes or Parisian Sandwich. If they have croissants available, it's a rule that you have to get one!

Kerbey Lane

Served all day Sunday - Thursday 1am-10pm, Friday & Saturday 7am-11pm
Kerbey Lane is a unique brunch spot because it's one of the two restaurants overlooking the San Marcos River. Show up early for a seat outside and relax with a Bacon Bloody Mary. You can't go wrong with ordering the Crispy Chicken Benedict, and their famous pancakes that certainly deserve the hype!

The Davenport

Saturday & Sunday 11am-3pm
The Davenport is a great location for alfresco (some of the porch is covered, some is uncovered and there are a few spots inside) brunching just south of The Square. They have some really unusual mimosa carafe options and delicious cocktails for a boozy brunch. You might want to check out their socials (@davenportsanmarcos) for upcoming specialty events like Drag Brunch! You must try Hunny Bunny's Hot Butter'd Chicken Biscuit and the very picturesque Avocado Toast.

Crafthouse

Served all day Monday - Friday 11-12am, Saturday & Sunday 10-12am
Located in Downtown San Marcos, Crafthouse is another excellent spot to hang out, relax and people-watch the goings on. With frozen Screwdrivers, Craft Sangria, Hank's Brisket Hash and an Ultimate Waffle Breakfast Sandwich - you're in for quite the brunch!

Texas Bean & Brew

Served all day, every day 8am-9pm
Texas Bean & Brew does brunch right! With menu items like the delicious and rich Cinnamon Pecan Pancakes, the very hearty San Marcos Scramble, or even the B & B Country Fried Steak with eggs - you're probably going to want to schedule a nap after... Get a mimosa flight for the full Bean & Brew brunch experience.

Ivar's River Pub

Saturday & Sunday 11am-4pm
Ivar's is the second of two restaurants on the San Marcos River and boy does it have a view! Get there early for a seat on the deck to overlook Rio Vista Falls as you chow down on their yummy Texas Brisket Eggs Benedict and Avocado Toast. And who could forget about Mimosa Flights and Pub Bloody Marys? Not us, that's for sure!

Palmer's Restaurant Bar & Courtyard

Sunday 12am-2:30pm (Last seating at 2pm)
Palmer's is a San Marcos staple! We recommend sitting in the romantic courtyard, complete with a picturesque fountain, to really set the brunch vibe. Of course, you can't go wrong with their unique Benedicts, Brunch Mary Burger or Low Country Shrimp and Grits. A pro tip, you're going to want to order Beignets for the table, trust us!
