Industry
Sunday 11-3 (and a mini brunch on Saturday)
Starting off with a bang, Industry's brunch is a fan favorite for a reason. Order an Industry Bloody Mary or a Waffle Shot for a boozy brunch. The Chilaquiles and Brunch Bowl are always a hit. Industry has inside seating and outside seating, with an open front of the building for the best of both wolrds!
Rogelio's
Monday - Saturday all day
Rogelio's has breakfast offerings all day long, and when you see their menu, you'll understand why! Huevos con Carne Quisada, Quesadilla de Huevo, Buttermilk Pancakes, and more will leave you in desperate need of a siesta. And if the food wasn't enough to entice you, their drinks menu sure will. From the honorary "El Presidente" for LBJ to the Rumchata - you're in for a good time at Rogelio's.
Root Cellar
Served all day Tuesday - Sunday 7am-3pm
Brunch at The Root Cellar is a San Marcos classic! Order the super fluffy and sweet Brazilian French Toast, The Rae Sandwich, or get creative and build your own breakfast. If the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere - there's always something happening in Downtown San Marcos!
Blue Dahlia
Served all day Monday - Sunday 9am-3pm or a special brunch menu on weekends only
Looking for a colorful, quaint, and grammable brunch place? Blue Dahlia is just the spot! We recommend ordering a mimosa or two - they have a wide range of fresh flavors to choose from. Personal brunch recommendations are the Blueberry Blintzes, Savory Crepes, or Parisian Sandwich. If they have croissants available, it's a rule that you have to get one!
Balcon Comedor Y Bar
Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm
Hibiscus Mimosa? Steak and Huevos or Mole Chilaquiles? You know what, that's too hard to decide, so we say get it all! Balcon is the perfect, atmospheric place for a cozy brunch. And you're for sure going to want an aqua fresca, which are all made fresh to order.
Crafthouse
Served every day 11am-7pm
Located in Downtown San Marcos, Crafthouse is another excellent spot to hang out, relax and people-watch the goings on. With frozen "River Water", Hank's Brisket Hash, and a big ol' Breakfast Burrito - you're in for quite the brunch!
Texas Bean & Brew

Texas Bean & Brew does brunch right! With menu items like the delicious and rich French Toast, the very hearty San Marcos Scramble, or even the B & B Country Fried Steak with eggs, you're probably going to want to schedule a nap after... Get a mimosa flight for the full Bean & Brew brunch experience.
Palmer's Restaurant Bar & Courtyard
Sunday 10am-2:30pm (Last seating at 2pm)
Palmer's is a San Marcos staple! We recommend sitting in the romantic courtyard, complete with a picturesque fountain, to really set the brunch vibe. Of course, you can't go wrong with their unique Benedicts, Chicken Fried Steak and Biscuits, or Low Country Shrimp and Grits. A pro tip, you're going to want to order Beignets for the table, trust us!
Casa Maria
Saturday and Sunday 8am-2pm
If you're not starting your day off with Casa Maria's Enfrijoladas or Huevos Montados you're missing out! Paired with one of their colorful craft cocktails and you're in for a real treat.
Kerbey Lane
Served all day (7am-10pm) every day
Kerbey Lane is a unique brunch spot because it's one of the two restaurants overlooking the San Marcos River. Show up early for a seat outside and relax with a Bacon Bloody Mary. You can't go wrong with ordering the Crispy Chicken Benedict, and their famous pancakes that certainly deserve the hype!
